The original image, has a very surreal feel about it as the woman seems to have been flung
towards the side of the frame. I made the choice to turn the image on its side to amplify the

concept that she is not only weightless, but also ungrounded.

   

Looking at the series as a whole, she appears to be drifting, almost confidently. There is a

wildness in her by the way she allows herself to be thrown about, yet I am attracted to the

gentleness and the softness of each image.
